Flat Pack House

The Flat Pack House ( Flatpak ) is the creation of founding Director and Principal Architect Charlie Lazor, the company is based in Minneaplos Minnesota.

Although each Flat Pack House is a unique custom design it is a true pre-engineered modular home design system that uses concrete, glass, metal or wood modular “menu” components, the FlatPak system allows home builders to create a wide variety of custom layout designs.

Perhaps not unsurprisingly vision for the Flat Pack House for prefab housing is heavily influenced by his design and manufacture experience as a co-founder of Blu Dot Furniture.

The first Flat Pack House was completed in 2004, the company originally  licensed the fabrication, marketing and the sales to an outside Company,  a component based builder of modern houses but since 2007 everything has returned to direct control and the results seem stunning.
